The Somatic Sanatorium Foundation was established to develop somatic practices, ecosomatics and improvisation. Our mission is to promote the Body-Mind Centering® (BMC®) approach in Poland and to develop practices that nurture regeneration, creativity and a deeper understanding of the human relationship with the environment.

We believe that the body is a profound source of experience, creativity and knowledge—one that can inspire artistic, social and ecological actions. Our projects weave together somatic practices with reflections on art, ecology and contemporary challenges. Through workshops and initiatives, we foster body awareness, help participants find balance between action and rest and explore new ways of coexisting with others and nature.

Somatic Sanatorium is a space for regeneration and care—for the body, relationships and the world around us. We believe that reconnecting with the body is a path to meaningful, lasting change, both personal and collective. In a time of disconnection, overproduction and exhaustion, our work focuses on reclaiming mindfulness and embodied presence.

We also offer space for exploration and experimentation, creating conditions to explore how somatic practices—like Body-Mind Centering®, improvisation, and ecosomatics—can support creativity, connection, and a deeper relationship with the world. We collaborate on projects that critically examine the links between body, movement, and environment.

What We Do:
