„REFLECT: Rediscovering the Self Through the Other” to projekt realizowany we współpracy między Dansverkstæðið w Islandii a Fundacją Sztuki Współczesnej w Polsce. Inicjatywa ta ma na celu stworzenie nowych narzędzi edukacyjnych i możliwości, szczególnie dla grup migrantów w obu krajach, wspierając kreatywny dialog oraz rozwój osobisty poprzez ekspresję artystyczną.
W ramach projektu w Warszawie utworzyliśmy międzynarodową grupę performatywną, która od kwietnia do września 2024 roku zajmowała się artystyczną eksploracją snów. Skupiliśmy się na tematyce snów zbiorowych i indywidualnych. Program obejmował improwizację, pracę somatyczną oraz integrację praktyk głosowych i ruchowych w kontekście wielokulturowym.
As part of the project, we established an international performance group in Warsaw, which, from April to September 2024, engaged in the artistic exploration of dreams. The group focused on the themes of collective and individual dreams. The program incorporated improvisation, somatic work, and the integration of vocal and movement practices within a multicultural context.
The result of our work was the performance „Thirteen Dreamscapes”, presented on September 29, 2024, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. This performance posed questions about how dreams can be understood as a form of collective experience that transcends personal and cultural boundaries.
